Did the Battle Grounds yesterday and learnt so much more than I already knew. Then took hubby off across the countryside to Catsfield, Burwash & TicehurstSussex, looking in grave/church yards for long gone relatives,in the rain, didn't find any but then again alot of the headstones are unreadable. Was lovely though seeing the country that my ancestors came from. Heading back Bristol way today to see the cousins again before we spend our last week in London, only 9 days left of a wonderful trip. I will be back again to see the rest hopefully very soon.

Was lovely meeting you too Gwyn. We did meet the King, Queen and entourage and quickly escaped when it was the beloved Henry VIII, wanted to keep our heads lol. We got lost in the Castle and dungeons for quite a few hours, thoroughly enjoying ourselves.
Off to The Battle today so in a way glad its not to hot lots of walking to do again.At least for now the wind is quiet.

Got a good raincoat/wind jacket. Don't mind the rain its the wind that gets me. Still love the beach/ seaside in wet stormy weather.

I just spent a lovely couple of hours with Ingrid and her husband, in Norwich, we chatted away as if we had known each other for years. They are a lovely couple and are enjoying all the different places they visit in England.

Soon they will be heading down south again via Kent way after taking a quick look at some more of our beaches and seaside towns on the Norfolk coast (Lowestoft is one destination) so if anyone else wants to meet our Aussie friends, get in touch with Ingrid by pm

A busy few weeks we have had. We are up north now in Carlisle and about to start heading east before going south again. Villages are still holding me up as I can't not stop with out having a walk around them.

Hi all time to report in.

We had a great time in London, we headed south to Brighton and have been following the coast around westward. Just beautiful and the weather is being kind. We are in Torquay tonight then down to Plymouth. Set off north ward then to the cousins in Bristol. Have walked more than I ever have I think in the last 2 weeks will get me fit or kill me lol.

Hi all I have enjoyed London and will have to come back as have more to see.
We are off today to get a car then heading south along the coast west and then north.

I am open to any meets just let me know when, I am here till the 20th June.

I found my camera leads they were in a bag I hadn't looked in .
