Thanks Elizabeth, have been worrying as daughter has just started letting him out on his own at age 13, remember well would not let my son out, daughters earlier had more sense.

Well Bob after not that good a start at secondary school has really been doing well and now top in Maths and English so hope it does not hold him back.

Thanks Wend, was a bit of a shock, she has only been letting him out on his own lately being a very protective mum. I just worry as he is right handed and don't want his school work to suffer as he is top in all subjects at the moment.

So sorry to hear this Carol, it must have been very worrying for everyone. I hope he makes a very speedy recovery. Children are so resilient, I am sure he will be running around in no time and telling his friends of his experience.

Youngest daughter just phoned, eldest grandson been hit by a car (his fault) broken wrist bruises, bleading from ear, he is home she said she will be sleeping with him. Thought after I had raised my three life would be easy, how wrong.
