There was also a Childrens Home on the sea front at Cullercoats run by the North East Childrens Society (now called Children North East) but this closed some years ago. |

Hi Robert......yes NE childrens' society is a very old charity and does lots of good work/support for the disadvantaged. |

Yes Mau, the Home was on the seafront overlooking Cullercoats Bay beside the navigation lights just along from Mast Lane towards the Church. |
