	Does all of this mean that they will start charging a membership or are all the profits going to come from advertising ?

	Jiminy most of the "original" FR members, ie those who joined in the early days, and then moved over to FR Connections in 2007, are already on FB they didn't like the "new" message boards that FR set up in 2009! and they were the ones who really made the name of FR! sylvia

	I also saw where someone had posted that FR has sold certain rigths to the FR Dating Site to a company called Cupid. This is what he posted (it's apparently in the newspapers) ................. Cupid will operate the site, while FR will maintain it. Cupid has paid a license fee of £600,000 for the privilege, plus another £200,000 if certain targets are met. In return, Cupid will keep 95% of the annual profits for 2 years, and then 100% of them. :-0 :-0 :-0 :-0 :-0 :-0 edited to correct information.

	You mean they're worse than Genes now........say it isn't so....hang on it's a plot...they made that look bad to try and make Genes look good !! Can't say I've been on Friends for ages maybe I'll try another day....bad enough here having to sign on every 5 mins =0)

	Oh yes, the other thing ...................... if they have both married and maiden names for you, they now show BOTH on any posts etc that you make, with the married name first then (nee xxxxx) ...... reason ................... "people" have complained that they don't recognise others by their married names, so they want to see the names they had in school. I always believed that one joined using your maiden name because that was the one you had in school. Be that as it may ...................... you have to go into My Account to make sure that only the name you want to be out there in the public domain is the one that is showing. and ........... only real names allowed.

	my first problem was remembering how to sign in and my password :-D ................ not done that for many years. I haven't looked on the site very often since 2009, although I still have many friends who have stuck with them ............. a visit last week was the first since January!

	Why does it give Littlehampton under Public Memories Have never lived there. I did live in a village between Worthing and Littlehampton What a right mess I do hope they do not try any of those things on this site

	YUK Just had a look Why on earth do I need or want the following: Make a box Find memories My keepsafe On the left under Public Memories is the places I have worked but where do I find the schools or streets Oh just found one school listed under my workplaces. So why list one and not the other two !! Also two towns/villages I have lived but none of the others !! First impression - do not think I will visit that often

	It's awful!!!! I heard on another site that Friends Reunited has re-fashioned and re-launched itself so I went to have a look please, please, all the gods there are ............... do not let GR re-launch itself to match! it's awful!! everything that "was" has sort of been grandfathered OR been removed. I can still access the groups I was in, but no-one else can now join, and if I accidentally click the "leave" button, I can't re-join they've done away with their Chat rooms .............. which I never even tried, but I know a lot of people liked to chat in "real time", ............ and replaced them with "Message Boxes" where you can communicate in real time by ........................ typing I tried to send a message to someone .............. and got a message that I had exceeded my "daily message limit". I tried to find out what the daily limit was ......... not having sent a message for 6 months, and only this one today. No answer in the FAQs ....... so clicked on "submit your query" to our group, as instructed. "Sorry, Page not found" followed by the dreaded "contact support" please don't let GR go the same route!!!!! s xx
