Hi Huia, glad you have a nice new computer and hope you soon find out all the things you can do with it lol

I got two similar text messages yesterday from an old school friend, both saying
Hi, this is my new number, I am still struggling with it! (but differently worded)

I tried to call her back and it went to voicemail, I left a message saying
Hi back, thanks for the two messages, haven't you found out how to answer the phone yet - only kidding.

I wonder if she knows how to retrieve her messages, bless her. She is still working as a HR manager at our main firestation so isn't a dumbo but I did laugh, imagining her trying to figure out the new phone.

We have been friends for 54 years.

My belated thanks to the last few. I have been offline for over a week now as my computer gave up and I now have a brand spanking new one, but had to wait while a telecom modem was made up for connecting me to the internet. I am still finding my way around this new computer.
