i have bought that many certs
the registery office know me by name
and have even let me see official entrys
with out me buying the certs if i am unsure

No Joy, name collecting is not the same as Geneology.

Roy, I think the tree owner has nothing else to do with their time, and are possibly retired, with nothing else to do.

I have just looked at someones tree, which when I last looked had about 45,000 peeps in it. Today it has 92,200, and I could not access after leaving it to down load for 15 mins., at least. All sorts of messages where coming up on the screen to get out of the programme. It was a nightmare. If a newbie was having a go, it would have frightened them to death, and put them off Geneology for life.
Must have a cuppa and a pill or two. I am a quivering reck. Trouble is, if I ever got into it, I would probably have all my answers. But I don't think it would do me nerves much good trying.
