i would be very suprised if you got it back
i myself think its silly kids taking exspensive items to school
that why you have to leave your jewelry at home

its asking for trouble

He's reported it to the school police officer who's taken the serial number down so on the off chance it turns up he'll get it back....but I think a pig will fly past before that happens.
He's not the smartest kid by any means and he has a speech problem and it really annoys me when people take advantage of him and others like him.
All he ever wants is to be accepted....so yes I'd love to rush out and replace it for him but if I do that he doesn't learn a lesson nor do his two younger siblings.

If you mark all you electronic stuff with smart water, should it ever be found by the police they will know who it belongs to.

You'd hope so wouldn't you, but life doesn't seem to be like that. They would have sold it for a good price and having a good laugh no doubt.
I thought the passcode would stop anyone using it but now I'm told they're easy to reset....so what's the point in having it in the first place !!
At 15 yrs old he should have known better AND he should have listened to me.......after I told him off he now just gets the "I told you so" face....mind you he is trying to creep around me right now and doing dishes etc

Well he's learnt a very hard lesson as I'm not replacing it.
