i think i joined march 2006, im not sure i had a paddy n deleted my old acount one day, so this one is my second x

Normal? I have never known the boards to be normal! I would have been in the wrong place if they had been! :-S :-) :-D ;-)


PS I have just been into my threads and found 105 pages of threads I ahve started or commented on. The first one was November 8th 2002. That's 10 years this year! OMG!

Strangely you are one whose real name (well first name anyway) I always remember SRS. :-D es that post was a bit hysterical with the Lols wasn't it? :-D

I purged a lot of my old posts Ann, (kept a few for sentimental reasons) and I'm still running into the thousands. I gave up on deleting. Life is too short,

I have to stop me using your real name at times ( I think I explained it all to you in PM why!!! )

I have a nice pic of me and him I might put it on me crown bit :-D

Although I have picked up a nasty habit of putting lol at the end of every sentence ;-)

Rose, I think we were on dial up in the beginning and I didn't go on the old, old chat board much which was when the posts clocked up the numbers. and when Daff was here we spent a lot of time chatting via messages.

I took a while to join even as a free member Ann, I remember my aunt telling me about it but I was wondering why I should pay £5 to join whilst I'd been using a great site like Genforum for free lol

I did post on the boards at the start under my real name lol (however, not very often)

I remember when they 1st changed the boards to threaded posts like it is now and people complained lol I remember the owner posting to say that he couldn't win lol as people had complained until he made the changes in the first place.

Nothing much changes does it?

I'm just thinking though what I could/should have done with all that time!

oooh It's my anniversary today of being a paying member although I don't renew until next week as GenesConnected gave us a free week a few years back!

Hayley, Naah, I meant it in a positive way. I thought the boards have been more lively since you pushed your toes through that snow lol

Three months longer than me SRS although I was on the boards from the start. :-D

I didn't post until the September, I was on dial up until after that and connection was variable to say the least lol.

I was totaly adicted too Gen thought I'd stumbled on another world :-D

Hayley, I used Tips for ages as General was too scary lol

However, I suddenly found it quite addictive (like a soap opera) and there were lots of fun threads,

I've only just found my way back to the genealogy boards.

I've found general chat a bit slow lately but it seems to be a bit more lively since you've come back from your cruise :-D

Shurrup Rose I am just talkative and you have breaks ....mine were enforced....No member since March I think I started using Tips was about May before I went on Gen :-P
