Blimey was Webbs that long ago, my first meeting and probably for loads of us, even one of the first on here. Its was good too:)

Do you remember Terri and Ray...Terri is back on here somewhere, she has a website where she writes her stories...brilliant!

l remember the names Jan & Rick, but did'nt realise they had married after meeting at one of the meets!

l did'nt go to a meeting in London, unless it was another Jude!?

l used to hear from Colin after he left but not in a few years now, l liked Colin, lovely man :-)

Your daughter seems to be settled then, brilliant :-)

It was Jacky who passed Gaynor Bear on to me in Birmingham, Bob.

Then I passed her on to Claire in Cov.

There was also Diane who was a good friend of Gaynor and her family. What happened to the photo pages as there were picturs of the Gaynor relay and London meet on there?

Hello Jacky - ours was the meeting that never was!! It was a few years ago now, Jude and I think Daphne were to meet us at Webb's. You were going to pick me up from my daughter's house in Solihull - but sadly it never happened for various reasons - can't remember exactly why.
I was in touch with Colin until a couple of years ago, he was having some health problems and gradually lost contact.
Next time I visit my daughter I will contact you and maybe we could meet for a coffee - better late than never !!!

I remember that! I can't remember why it didn't go ahead though. It was about the time I had a few health problems so whether that had anything to do with it.

I vaguely remember that one, but not why it was cancelled. We did have two Webbs meets. At one time Daphne was unable to attend because of a migrain. (Not heard from her for ages although Jude and I did meet up with her in Malvern once). Yes Colin did have health problems, I think he got over them though a lot was stress I think because, surprise surprise he had problems on his new site with WUMS.

Diane left when she changed jobs if I remember rightly she had also changed names and can't for the life of me remember what she changed to, was it Pink? Yes I think that was one of her name changes. Met her in Bristol, great fun she was. Jan and Rick were there too and Mags, Gwynne, Mandy, Bev was at one of the Bristol ones (there were two). Ooh several others whose names I can't think of right now.

I remember Diane being Pink when all the fundraising was going on for Gaynor.

I also remember a Jenny and a Viv.

What ever happened to Donna (aka Strump at one time). I am not sure if she went off the boards after her mum died.

Jenny is still around, she was on here a couple of weeks back (Jenny is/was Mommylonglegs)).

Donna came back and then left again.

Viv in Herts is still on here occasionally.
