I find the china pots make tea taste better. But the metal ones stay hotter longer tho.

I got to buy some more leaf tea. I like the breakfast tea bags as well. Use to get it in loose tea as well. Will have alook tomorrow.

We have a tea caddy and a tea spoon which are used several times a day.Five tea pots.Three strainers.

Just think of me as some sort of geisha.

I got out my little metal teapot the other day for the first time in ages. Used T bag (Twinnings Breakfast) Didn't taste any different but it was much hotter which was nice with this weather.

Tea bag in a huge mug for me (preferably 'builders' grade of stewdom)
Strangely though, I have a 'brown betty' teapot in the cupboard, a 'tea' spoon (the one Jean and Hazel talk about) and I found 3 tea bag 'squeezers' in my drawers the other day - though I don't use them!

*memo to self* Must clear out my kitchen cupbards more often!!

Always loose tea in a pot. I don't like tea-bags,can taste them.

Used to use PG but found that Yorkshire is stronger.Always use freshly boiled water, always warm the pot.

I do sometimes drink coffee at home because, once opened, the coffee goes black if you don't drink it in time. Usually I drink coffee, latte because it doesn't taste too much of coffee, when I am out because I am too picky to drink tea in a lot of places.

I like loose tea, always done in a teapot, but OH cant manage the leaves that escape the strainer, so we use tea bags, two to a large pot. Dislike the habit of making it in a cup, waste of tea. years ago, one barracks I was at, we had a perforated spoon, double sided, that held the tea, and as we were all in at diffent times, we left the used tea in the spoon until it was all used up! It was surprising how many cups we could get out of one spoon.

Teabag - I cannot stand a tea leaf in my mouth - and yes I would use a tea sieve but one always seemed to escape and land in my cup! OH drinks coffee only a morning cuppa so it is a teabag in a mug for me.

I'm a die hard Tatley bagger Mau, nothing else will do - especially that titled stuff that tastes as if it's been on the shelf too long with the lid off :-0

Hazel, I haven't actually used my spotty pot as the thermal one is pretty much unbreakable and it keeps the tea hot without it tasting 'stewed' so there's no hurry to drink up the second mug :-D
That's another thing.....mug or cup? We have mugs but I agree tea tastes lovely from bone china cups :-D
