Thank you all for your kind messages. Everyone is so kind. I managed to 'escape' yesterday afternoon. Boy was it good to have a descent cuppa in my own home.
Listening to the local radio this morning it is a good job I came home when I did. Tomorrow we are expecting 5-10cm of snow, and Sunday, absolute mayhem. It is the local football derby between Derby County and Nottingham Forest, at Derby. The pubs in Derby are opening from 7.00 in the morning. Not going to be a nice place to be, and I suppose the docs. in A & E will be on alert.
Ann, yes I was doing so well, and I had not been in hospital since last November, two and a half months. But, until they come across a 'miracle cure' this is what it is going to be like. The trouble is, they do not do anything to me, when I go in, except get the pain down and monitor all vitals, because, I am booked to have an MRCP scan next Saturday, and they will not touch me with a barge pole (local saying), because I am the patient of a certain Professor who carries alot of clout at the hospital. Trouble is, he is not often there, but none of the other consultants will make a descision.
Oh well, this is the cross I have to bear, so all I can do is grin and bear it.
Thanks again to all you lovely people.
