Not really a cheese lover, I hate blue cheese, Stilton etc. but do like mature cheddar, brie, and Swiss cheese. I also adore goats cheese but only usually have it when I go out.

I always do English cheeses. Stilton, Somerset Brie, Red Leicester, Cheshire, goats cheese.

This menu is a choice for me and Him - son allergic to cheese/dairy products. Cheese board comes out son disappears! It will be nice if we dine on 25th as last year son had swine flu and I think we finally had the goose etc at Easter!

I forgot St Auger and shropshire blue like both of those although OH doesn't. I can't have too much blue cheese because I am the only one that eats it.

My favourite - Boursin - then very mature cheddar, plain stilton, brie, Cheshire and do not forget the grapes - mixed biscuits/crackers. OH always has to have edam (tastes like plastic to me). OH will still be on the Rioja whilst I shall be still struggling with my one and only glass of Rioja!

Thanks Ann
The OH just likes plain old Moustrap. But I like St Auger,Stilton with Apricots,Wenslydale with Cranberries, Shropshire Blue, Caerphilly, a nice soft white cheese, even Philladelphia. I only buy the small truckles of Stilton and Wenslydale.
But of course I like the Oat Cakes, Cream Crackers and even Ryvita, with my cheese. And it has to be accompanied by a glass of very good Port.

Love cheese Julia. Can't buy too much with only two of us but we usually have stilton with apricots, Wenslydale with cranberries, a good cheddar, Brie, maybe Double Gloucester with chives or something else. And anything else that takes our eye. What do you have?

Do you make a good cheeseboard at Christmas, and what do you have.
Or, don't you like it at all
