Two things that turn a house into a home = A Cat and a Teapot.
I had a mug given to me years ago with this on the side.

Thanks Merlin.
She needs a bit of brushing now and again as she is quite long haired.
Cant say i like the furballs but apart from thats she lovely.
She used to run and get her toy mouse and bring it to you to throw, she would then bring it back. Seems to have grown out of that now.

I've always had a cat. Had a break of about 8 yrs when first married as we lived in a flat,so i left my cat with my Mum.
Soon as we moved to a house with a garden I got another kitten,he sadly died,he had a fight with a car and the car won;((.
Then I got another one,had him15 yrs till i had to have him put to sleep.
Now I've got the little madam in the photo...she is a house cat and is well trained, and loved by all the family.

I think its good for the grandkids as they arent allowed pets of their own. Their Dads would have a cat in a minute but not their Mums lol.

I can't imagine life without my three, they are the best friends I have.

I love all animals, but after our last dog died of old age,we decided not to take in another one,as they are so tying. Cats do not need taking a walk,do not demand amusing 24/7,don't chew op the furniture and bark at every strange sound.

Mind you, they do tend to dig up my newly planted flowers to create a latrine! ;-) <3 <3 <3 <3
