I said somewhere else, can't find the thread though, that these have been asked for by GR members for a very long time, though up to the takeover we were all ignored. There were an awful lot of rows and arguments on here because people misinterpreted what was being said, simply because we were unable to show the spirit of the comment through text only. Now there are hardly any rows through the misunderstanding of the tone of a comment, mostly because they are followed up with a more lighthearted smiley. When a misunderstanding does crop up, it's more often than not because the poster hasn't used them.

At the end of the day though, they are just a bit of fun, and it's not obligatory to use them at all, :-D

This one's my favourite :-D but I'd love a yawn, a rolling eyes, and one rolling around laughing.

EDIT: and a suspect....and my favourite of all, the ninja...
