All I can say is that they should thank their lucky stars they do not need one. I have one and wish I did not need it as I am sure all Blue Badge Holders are the same.

Your right you cant just look at someone and deem wether they are fit or disabled, they will soon change there tune if it happens to someone they know.
I find if ive dared to wear makeup and im about to park in the disabled bay, i can feel others by there cars looking, so out comes the stick or wheelchare which ever i need and the fuss is over, i feel ill enough witout wanting to look it.

I have been replying to ignorant comments about the motability car/blue badge system for the past couple of hours.

According to some of the respondents a disability car should only be a 3 wheeled small old fashioned type. The only person allowed to drive the car should be the badge holder/owner of the car unless....wait for it......they have lost limbs!!!

The ignorance of the people is astounding! I did suggest to that one idiot that he might like to recall his comments when a blind driver hits his car or someone behind the wheel has an epi fit or heart attack and maims him. After all he deems these people FIT to drive.

Why can't some people understand that not all disabilities are immediately obvious.

Of course there are abuses, we all know that but FGS these morons are tarring everyone with the same brush.

Rant Over

Sue
