If you are a mere babe, Sue, what does that make me?

Huia.

I'm a mere babe in the winning post stakes :D

I typed AnnofGreenGables into the search box above and it gave a topic to which she had replied. She has 40,521 posts! I think she is the champ, or at least as far as I know. I am not going to search all the threads.

I guess so!

If somebody deletes a topic which they started, and to which I had added does that mean that my number will go down? :-(

hmmm

I thought 19,000+ was pretty high!

So it's actually Ann o' GG, so far!

The battle of the Anns. ;)

Ann of Green Gables has a count of over 40,000.

It's quite startling to see how many times one's posted, isn't it?
I hardly ever delete, but have deleted a couple of my own threads of a general nature, which will be of no help or interest to anyone else.

You know what will happen if you delete posts from any threads of mine ...

Well, let's just say you don't want to find out., do you?

Me? Gossip? Heaven forbid!

Been busy deleting some of the chattering ones from 3 years ago (no, not research etc) just to try to get the number down - :D

Night all

JaneyCanuck

JaneyCanuck Report 8 May 2011 00:35

Well of course mine are overwhelmingly research posts too!

DET, surely yours aren't all gossip. ;)

Ah yes, Rose, deleting one's posts (like I don't) doesn't help one's post count, does it? Heh.

I have seen a couple of 25,000 odds but I think Ann probably has it as the longest , unbroken membership combined with not being one to delete her posts .

+++DetEcTive+++

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 8 May 2011 00:21

Ann does seem to have posted a lot, but many are probably research posts.

I'm shocked that I have so many - and they are mainly chattering ones. Obviously spend faaarrrr too much time on the Internet and it isn't as if I'm housebound.

It seems a winner has already been declared -- Ann in Glos!

Any challengers?

JaneyCanuck

JaneyCanuck Report 8 May 2011 00:09

And ... will there be fireworks and general merriment when someone hits a "milestone" -- like 1,000, 5,000, ... 20,000 ... ?

;)

19,841 and counting!

JaneyCanuck

JaneyCanuck Report 8 May 2011 00:08

Has this been done already?

Who has the highest post count?

Not moi, despite the mockery I am getting for it. ;)

I've only checked one who I thought who might have outdone me and who happened to be handy -- Joy ~ Kentish Maid in whose thread I had just posted, and hers is waaay higher than mine.

So who is the reigning monarch of post counts??
