The whole industry is a huge scam.
- they are just parasites who feed on the grieving and the vulnerable!

I have been to see both Derek Acorah and Sally Morgan.
Derek I have seen twice and enjoyed the nights out.
Sally I saw in January at Birmingham Alexandra Theatre. She was lovely.
Now I have read lots of reviews on Sally and it seems that she is like Marmite! You either like her or you don't.
I liked her and she was very good the night I saw her. I am going to see her at Wolverhampton Grand Theatre on 18th April. It is a sell-out.

I go to have a night out, with open mind, and I don't come away disappointed.
If she tells people that she will come back to them later, I have found it usually means back stage after the show.

The "readings" she gave on the night I saw her were pure genious in that she couldn't possibly have known the strange and personal things she brought up. This was what I found entertaining.

Some might argue that it is a waste of money. but then, you can spend more on a favourite band and be disappointed!

£21 is not a lot of money for a good night out - in my oppinion. it is also something different to do.

If you want to go - try it- if you don't like it, don't go again!

I find that it is pointless taking other peoples oppinions on Sally, too many mixed reactions, find out for yourself and I hope you have a good evening as I did

We saw her show last night, and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. She didn't do any 'fishing', she just gave out information which either made sense to the person that it was meant for or it didn't.

Janet Report 20 Jul 2011 11:56

I have to say that her voice sometimes grates on me but I think it is because she is taking on the drawl of the person coming through.

I have gone to many meetings over the years and have really experienced good messages both for me and sharing other peoples. I always think that the people getting the messages are the ones who need them the most. I would never knock it, particularly if comments are made on isolated ideas.

I also understand feeling self conscious about accepting a message as I know that 'my message' was given to the person in front of me. In desperation the medium, who is well known for her accuracy, said to the wrong person that there was someone wearing boots with two zips and I knew it was me, I was wearing them but I daren't interrupt her to say that the message was with me. I often thought about that person who left that evening thinking they had been told a load of rubbish but in fact, I accepted the message but just daren't speak up in front of the whole gathering.

Sure the tv edit the program and there will be good nights and not so good nights but that would happen if someone attended a meeting in a spiritulist church each week .Besides giving readings they spend time sending healing thoughts. This is something that I never thought about in other churches I have attended,so for me I don't focus on the 'messages' which seems to be the only consideration when some people think about mediums.

Going to an evening of clairvoyance is simply 'cherry picking' one part of a Spiritualist Meeting.Enjoy. -jl
