THANKS FOR ALL THE INFO- IT DOES SEEM A POINTLESS IDEA NOW AND I WONDER WHY GR BOTHER WITH IT. I WANTED TO SEND A COPY OF THE TREE TO A RELATIVE THAT DOES NOT HAVE THE INTERNET. THANKS EVERYONE FOR YOUR HELP |

Is there a particular reason for wanting it on a disc? You may do better to download your gedcom file to your 'puter and then onto a memory stick for safer keeping and easier updating. |

true you loose all you info, all you get is your tree, not much point putting onto disc, you'll need a Gedcom reader to open it. |
