Thank you for all the suggestions ladies, I have managed to get most of it off my face, using baby wipes, face cleanse and scrubbing!

Not using that one again, it said 'golden brown' on the box.. a shade which usually comes out close to my normal hair colour but covers the grey ( 40 mins max) this one (10 minutes )has gone very very dark, any darker and it would be black :( ....it did cover the grey though should anyone wish to try it lol

Hi Rose,

if you have used the herba wotsit ten mins one the colour will fade and wash out gently, I use the Ash blonde one and it comes out strawberry blonde to start with as I have a lot of red in my hair originally - was dark brown with lots of auburn highlights which were natural, my son has inherited the same colour lucky boy but more of it lol It fades down so the roots don't show so much till I do it again - usually a couple of months or so.

I use a bit of hair conditioner on cotton wool to get stains off my skin, after colouring, but I always put mine on from a bowl using a tinting brush instead of using the applicators so it's easier to do.

Why not teach your son to do the job for you Rose, my lad used to help me do mine years ago so he understands a bit more about it and could help his girlfriend at the time, do hers.
Amanda, the vit d I am taking is really helping my hair, there is so much new growth now so my wide parting is now much more normal.
I was reading somewhere about colouring hair after chemo, will try and find the article later and add it here.

Hi Liz, well that's a thought about Dan doing it for me :)
but it won't be with this one again lol, it really is too dark for me...the only good thing is I am relieved I didn't go for the darker shade in the first place lol

Annie, I would ask about the dye... your chemo doesn't fit into the same *chemo category* as most other chemos, so it may be that you will be able to use the more gentle colourants... although I imagine permanent ones are out. I have to keep away for two years after my last treatment... so next February I could maybe look at doing it again. My hair is very thick and strong, and a real mix of silver/white and black, plus *chemo kink* so the *wash and go* types don't touch it anyway. I have made the decision to go au natural, lol... I am just grateful it all came back, although I actually didn't really mind being bald.

I'll look yours up, and if I see anything, I'll pm you, ok?

Love

Daff xxxx
