im trying to find out information on a marvin alfred henry davies. he was born on 1st of sept 1928 in wantage hampshire berkshire.his mothers maiden name was davies,he must have been born out of wedlock his father was a jim o dare, i know nothing more about him. he had a sister called floss who had a daughter called sylvia. he moved to hirwaun glamorgan south wales,his wifes name was kathleen sylvia hutching. she was born on 17 may 1937 in andover and died in 1979in merthyr tydfil glamorgan south wales.her fathers name was william george hutching he was born on 22 dec 1907 in reading and died on 14 april 1993 in merthyr tydfil glamorgan south wales. marvin was also known as patrick (paddy) o dare. they had one son kevin o dare. patrick married his second wife irene a jones in march 1994 in pontypridd glamorgan south wales. i would be so grateful for any information i receive on patrick and kathleens famlys and jim odares family as all the infor i have is written here. thank you wendy

cant see any marriage to Kathleen in either names

so Kathleen was a Hutchins not Hutching (the mmn on kevins O'dare birth Ref is mispelt!)

ive now found floss was florence k davis and she married thomas bolland in 1942 but i cannot find her birth any ideas

If you get his birth cert .GRO ref listed above then it will tell you his mums name, The address where he was born may be helpful and her profession. I take it she didnt bring him up then ?

You may have to get Florence's marriage cert too for her age and also who she said was her dad on the cert
