LOL - you should have been at my daughters wedding!
Normally, when 'family' go round, son in laws parents and partners don't meet - they time it to perfection! Fortunately me and ex get on so no problem there.
At the wedding, there was me - and friend, who my ex knows. Ex with one of his girlfriends - the one me and our children like.
Son in law's mother, her partner, father, his wife (also his girlfriend before he married son in law's mother - so son in law's mother won't speak to her.
Seating was a bit of a problem.
Ex and I were on the top table, as was son in laws mother, but her partner and ex's girlfriend sat on the next table, facing us.
Son in laws father and his wife were positioned so they faced away from the table, so we didn't have to see son in laws mother shooting daggers!

So today I have contacted both of mine, I apologise to the 3rd.

What fun it would be to have the whole lot out for a week.

MIL thought Dad was great ...unsure about step mummy
Mum thought Dad was great (at times) unsure about step mum
Step Mum knew dad was great and is 14 yrs younger than previous wife.

Now I think it would be good to put them all together.
