The photos are lovely Pauline. Thank you for sending them.

Like Liz we have some sort of picture in our heads of how people look and you look fine to me, even without the make up.!!

Hope the flowers last a little while, at least you will have the vase left afterwards, for hubby to refil.

Thanks to Marilyn for organising this.

Loved the photos Pauline, isn't it strange that you look nothing like I imagined, do we all have a picture in our head of friends on here and then sometimes find out we are sooo wrong! You look great, don't know why you thought you would break the camera, and without makeup too, now that I wouldn't dare show lol

Enjoy the flowers, I bet the chocs are gone already, would be if mine lol

I’ve put this thread up so I could say a special thank you to the lovely caring people who sent me flowers, cards and chocolates because they knew I was feeling low after a bereavement.

It made me cry even more, but for a nice reason this time – especially as they’ve all got their own problems and worries.
