You've been lucky Linda.The cousins I know about I'm not too keen to contact and the others obviously aren't looking at that site.

Hi Heather
Yes I had contact from a cousin on my Mum's side.
I knew he existed, but we weren't close. He is younger than me although in the same generation. He has shared so much info with me. And I was able to fill in a few gaps with my family info.

Not sure how many you would need to fill in for a real chance, but it needn't cost anything only time.

Sorry Iris it isn't specially to do with Romany's. Mainly family from the 1881 census initially.

i've not heard of that site before ,is it a romany site , as a lot of my mother in laws ancesters were romanies, iris

Has anybody ever had any contacts on the Lost Cousins site?I've put quite a lot of my ancestors on there but never got anything.
