Helen, it is very addictive, is garden visiting. I have just been looking at my book for July, and it is decisions, decisions. But they must sell plants.

Good Morning Helen in Kent.
Is your new hobby spotting the obligatory features that you have mentioned, or garden visiting. This is our new summertime Sunday afternoon hobby, and very rewarding it is.

We went with friends to the Saltwood Garden Safari this afternoon and had a lovely time. The gardens were all very different but so beautiful.

We did notice, however, that every garden had (a) at least one fruit tree (b) raised vegetable beds (c) one buttercup (d) a pond. After a while it got funny, each of us saying "pond, check", "veg beds, check" But we had a great day and thank-you to all those people who gave up their time for charity.

Suddenly I have a new hobby!
