Don't throw the flags
But store away
They'll come in for another day.
In April 11 there'll be no complaint
If you fly them for our patron saint.

Great Poem Rose

It's sad but not really unexpected ..Germany always has been the bogey team.


Could do with a couple of cotton flags as Mini seems to want cotton under her chair to lay on ....daren't ask the neighbours YET lol

In Bloemfontein, remember when?
England versus Germany
On live TV for all to see,
Peasants, Princes, Pundits too
Saw what Capello’s lads could do.
They ran a bit and kicked a ball
But magic wasn’t there at all.
A second goal that thrilled the crowd,
and then, what shame, was disallowed.
So sad, the Germans got their kicks
And sweet revenge for ‘66!
Tear down the flags and store until
We meet again, but in Brazil.
