I copied about 5 1911 originals between 1.30pm and 3.00pm.no problem, but I still have whole families missing that I do know should be on there.Copied some for my OH,but his granddad, who was a school teacher, has got his 5 daughters the wrong way round in age,as OH knew them well.Perhaps he'd had a drink!...or the girls were driving him mad!...Can't blame the enumerator as they filled out their own forms on 1911 census.

Think that's the end of the freebies!!!

You have to stay in for the whole 90 minutes. If you log out it won't let you back in.

Yes - you can search other records as well.

I find when I'm searching the 1911 that it won't let me see the original pages and it won't let me copy the transcripts - but at least I have managed to confirm a few things so it's been worth it.

I think you have to register the day before but I could be wrong.

Hi sue,

When you register you should have an e-mail back from them that you click on to and that should take you to the site.
Then click on to ...search census and a list will come up with them all 1911 is the top one, click search and then just put in details.I have found that putting only a little in,sometimes just asurname with approx dates and then they will all come up and you can view the actual form with their own writing on the 1911.Then print off and you can save as well.
I was on from 1.30-3.pm and had no problem as I did last time.
good luck, remember it lasts till 9.am tomorrow morning but only for 90 mins.
