Hi Maggie,

I have seen them on the banks of the test at Whitchurch,
Nice to know the are on the Itchen again.

So good to know they're making a come-back.
I'll look out for them when I'm next in Winchester.

When I first move here, me and my girls would watch the water voles on reeds on the river below the undertakers.
Ten or so years ago they disappeared - possibly because of the influx of released mink.
Today, for the first time in years I saw two on the reed - I'm sooo happy!!!
Anyone visiting Winchester - they're by the old mill bridge on the opposite side to the mill.
