Perhaps as Claire stated we ought to try it, know it sounds weird, but sure M & S would not have put it on shelves without testing first. |

Sounds an unusual mixture and I bet it has sugar in it, so tttthough I like liquorice I dont think I will be trying it. |

Shirley, I am the opposite. I love trifle, but darn't eat it often, and dislike licquiorice. I am the same with aniseed. When I was about 8, I had some aniseed balls from the sweet shop, and a few days later was in hospital with appendisitice. So that memory still stays with me. Couldn't drink Pernod, if me life depended on it. |

YUK love liquorice but cant imagine a trifle! use to LUV liquorice wood 2 a penny after the war when I was at primary school and the local sweet shop sold it. Some was very sweet but some downright bitter nevertheless IF i had a penny thats what I bought |
