I watched the programme and told my o.h. who had just come home and sat down, about your family Gillian and about my friend who lost her son the same way. He collapsed when in his teens, as he was getting changed after playing a football match, his parents had watched him and congratulated him on a good game, they went off home leaving him to change and spend time with his friends and got the call all parents dread.

The prog. was very informative. I am glad the lad is ok now.

I just caught the last few minutes (just before his op to have the device fitted).
I thought of you as soon as I realised that he had had a heart attack.

Such an eye opener, he looked as healthy and obviously tried to keep fit. A real eye opener. Just sorry that I missed most of the programme.

I hope that it is taken up on breakfast t.v (and other discussion/chat programmes) so that it can get the airing it needs and deserves.
