im trying to find information on david davis born abt 1866 in mountain ash. he married catherine harris in the last qtr of 1885. they had 9 children their names were william llewelyn 1887. david handel 1891. gomer 1893. rodger 1895. caradog 1898. daniel 1901. glyndwr 1904. blodwen 1904. olwen 1908. david was an insurance agent. in 1911 they lived in 3 thomas street miskin mountain ash mid glamorgan south wales. they lived at the same address in 1901. in 1891 i have them living in church street penrhiwceiber mid glamorgan south wales. i cannot find anything on david or his wife catherine before this i would be grateful for any help i can get.

trouble is david davis is so common in wales

its like my great grans name elizabeth thomas
thats common too, makes it harder to find

yes your right. the family seems to think theres a that one side of the family comes from france.
