the author of a poem, about Oxford, which ends something like

'and every man should know and soon
his golden Oxford afternoon'

I was watching Lewis and remembering a day I spent in Oxford many years ago...

it will drive me mad if i can't find the rest of it,, have tried googling but 'Oxford poetry' brings up too much

I went there when I was about 22 Kay , my then boyfriend had won some first class rail tickets, so we had a compartment to ourselves :) lovely summer day and we just wandered around, popped into book shops, walked by the river...
