Dear All

Hello

Hope you are well and doing okay.

Now there's no need to fret!

There is still a lot of summer to enjoy.

There is usually magnificent sunsets and gradually as the cycle of the year turns towards autumn, spectacular colours.

Oh yes, the weather for our GR cousins and friends in the southern hemisphere will gradually turning towards spring.

There is a lot of talk about emotional and physical well-being but
as I looked through one of my books, there is not much about the
needs of your soul.

Soul can also be your inner voice or instinct. Whatever you believe,
it is important for you to recognise when you have pushed yourself too much and need to slow down and rest.

Take gentle care
Very best wishes
xx

You know, it seems to be a human trait, to leave our rubbish where it falls........even on the moon, BUT
the only place I can think of at the mo, where garbage IS disposed of reasonably regularly,
(Chiefly I suspect becouse it takes up too much room on the ISS)
.is from the ISS where much of it is jettisoned to burn up on its way back to earth!! while some, which is useful junk is fetched back on the shuttle to be re furbished, or examined!!.............

Hi all,
Just saw a report on TV about the solstice at Stonehenge.
I can empathise with the sentiments of people feeling drawn to such events that make them respect and feel one with the Earth, but I was just appalled at how much litter the gathering had left behind!

Regards,
Mayfield

Morning all.

Saw the sunrise this morning, not that I'd planned to. Awoke at 3.15am needing the bathroom( think this may be a follow on from surgery) but couldn't get back to sleep, due to hubby snoring, so came downstairs to snuggle on sofa to try to sleep, but couldn't, as fish tank filter was louder than normal, must need cleaning out. Didn't want to put telly on, browsed the net for awhile, then at 4.30 the skys started getting lighter. Went outside on the decking, it was so peaceful. At 4.46 the sun rose, now if we lived in another part of our estate, I would of had my camera out trying to capture the sight, but where we live I had no view of the horizon and I wasn't going to go for a walk in my nightie and dressing gown in our area.

Well hope everyone has a great day, Wimbledon starts this afternoon, yippee. Strawberries and cream later.

Thank you Elizabeth.
I always feel sad that the days will become shorter again soon, but like the sentiments of today.

May we all have long life, light and hope!

Dear All

Hello

Hope you are well and doing okay.

Today the sun reaches its fullest power.

It is the longest day of the year, with hopefully more hours of sunshine than on any other day.

Ceremonies to mark the sunrise and sunset on this day are held at Stonehenge and also in countries like Germany, Sweden and others.

The focus of this festival is on enjoying the present, looking at ways to overcome problems and helping to precent cruelty to people and animals.

If you can try and spend some time in a local park, to see nature.

Enjoy the foods you eat, like red, yellow and orange fruit and vegetables.

In the next few days, try and eat a small meal outdoors or have a picnic.

Having pictures around you that make you happy and bring some sunshine into your life is good too.

So three words sum up this day, light, life and hope.

Take gentle care
Very best wishes
