Glad everyone has had a nice day.
Weathers been fantastic hasn't it.
I had a busy morning but a quiet afternoon, a takeaway for tea and now I think a glass of wine! Or maybe 2, lol.

We had a lovely drive through D.H. Lawrence country, heading for a garden open for cancer charities. Here we were in the surrounds of Lord Byron's country pile. The garden was nice, but not quite to my tastes, but nevertheless, I did buy some plants. We sat drinking proper tea out of a china cup and saucer, listening to a brass band, playing on the lawn. Weather was great, and the birds were singing.. I bought several portions of home-made cake, not cheap, having taken my own box. Then a leisurly drive back. Feet up now for an hour or so, then to the local hostelry for a proper Sunday Dinner, at six. No cooking for once. I could get used to that kind of life. I'll come down to earth soon, no doubt, but it is nice to have a treat now and again.
A nice Sunday evening to all
