My real father died before i got to meet him ~i met his wife and she told me about him and how much i look and act like him. |

thanks jane , elizabeth, for your input , I have meet Bm , according to two of b siblings I look alot like her , i no longer have contact with her but have contact with b brother they have different father , although i am truely grateful for contact with brother , and the little bit of information I have , not sure it is true , my adoptive parents are great , that last bit of info is needed |

The way I look at things now is...I had the best upbringing with a wonderful Mum and Dad.I have a couple of photos of my B Mother,never met her(she died in 1994)As I said me and my B Siblings don't know our Fathers(all different)except for 2 sisters who are now no longer here. |

thanking you all for messages , in many ways it is nice to know that it is not just me who hasn't been told about our birth fathers , so much of what was writtern on my adoption notes wasn't true , which makes it more difficult to know what was true , I have great adopted parents , shame they are on holiday this weekend but even at 81 my dad knows how to text .why do so many families keep so many secrets |

Rachel ,I was 1 of 8 children,and the only ones who knew the name of their father were 2 sisters and he was the Milkman lol.The rest have no idea. |
