Alas Joy the music stopped at that point. Fortunately we don't have problems with neighbours making a lot of nice thank goodness. It's quite quiet around here.

Or you could enter 'Michael Buble' in the google box and c&p Bublé from Wiki

Heh heh heh. Trade secret.

Hold the Alt key while typing 1 3 0 (in the numerical keys on the right side of the keyboard) and you get é.

Alt130 = é
Alt133 = à

Voilà. ;)

Alt135 = ç, comme les français.

I do it just because I work in both French and English and it's second nature (although a lot easier in Word).

Please tell me Janey - how do you get the posh little accent over the last 'e' of Buble (as I know it should be?)

Oh, but Michael Bublé!

I knew nothing about him til he was at the Olympics. Then last night we watched him on Graham Norton (one of the few good things "BBC Canada" channel still carries, old as they are).

Gosh he's cute, and sooo Canadian. ;)

Ha, I have you all beat.

Around the corner from me -- i.e. about 40 feet from my open office window, if I look out it and to my right, I see the back of their house -- we have a rock band that practises all afternoon Saturday and Sunday. With the windows open, apparently.

They seem to be middle-aged Chinese men (!) and I can't tell whether they're professionals rehearsing or just guns (uh, guys) hanging out. They don't putz around, they play complete songs, and No.1 says it's mostly original and they're all actually quite good.

Nonetheless, if I wanted a three-hour rock concert while I'm working, or doing anything else in my own house, I'd request it. Or I'd move to a commercial zone, which is where rock band rehearsing is allowed. I spoke to them some time ago, but no effect. The noise patrol people will be getting a call sometime, if I feel like initiating that entire rigamorole ...

I love a bit of Michael Buble on my patio when I'm having a few (probably too many) drinks with friends, but it's that very loud boom, boom, boom of the bass from the teenagers' music (?) a couple of doors away (when mum and dad are out) that drives me mad! Plus one of their sons practising his drumming at the weekend in the afternoons when I'm gardening. But I'm just a grumpy old woman!

I've got my window open and can hear the birds and someone's music playing. It's not so loud that it's annoying and I must admit they've got a wonderful taste in music. it sounds really summery and it's great in the evening sun.

I don't think it's Frank singing at the moment so I wonder if it's Michael Buble singing or whether it's a collection of the classics.

**wonders what the next song will be**
