sorry the news wasn't as good as expected. Radiotherapy will hopefully sort it once and for all. Some of these consultants have no bedside manner. Im sure if your S/dads own consultant is back for radiotherapy he will explain it all better. Good luck to your S/dad and best wishes for you,

oh i wont joy no way and mum dont understand so as far as there concerned its all good, also this is secondry cancer he had cancer in 96 but they failed to tell him a solicitor has taken the case on it should never have got this far.

the radiotherapy hopfuly will kill any stray cells puss
if there is any stage 2 is still hopeful

so dont for one minute give up hun
if you and your mum give up he will

so try hard as it is to stay strong

joy he was a arogant git too dads consultant is on holiday, he was the type who makes you feel nervous no eye contact made, when i asked was it still at stage 1 he sharply said 2 its spread hasnt it, but the parents didnt here this or if they did they didnt let on, so i told em its radio to get any lurking cells if there are any , aftyer radio he comes back to good hope to see orig man xx

thanks joy really cause i was thinking aswell if it was worrying that they would have opted for chemo, but he has said stage 2 which again the odds are good but not great due to the rareness of the cancer stage 2 is at 59% survival in 5 yrs before he had 85% xx

oh Puss sorry it didn't go quite as planned,\lets hope the radio therapy works will keep thinking of you.

sorry that things did not go as you had hoped,hopfuly the radio therapy will do the trick. my wife now has a date for her investigtion in to the lump on her vocal cord next friday. hopefully they will sort it. michael2

all didnt go as good as planned we were upset as the surgeon had said he felyt he had got all the cancer but it has been founf in one of the groin lymph nodes, i asked for ba prognosis and he said he couldnt say!! and i repeated what had been said that no cancer had been seen on the scan he has to go to the heartlands now for radio therapy but not for a few weeks good sign? hope so xxx
