Heeheee.........my OH wasn't too happy when I just went out and bought ours, he had quite a strop on for a while - but now he says that if (when) it breaks there'll be no messing - just go and buy a new one! And he's quite happy to say that to anyone, he loves it so much LOL

Mary

Add: Don't know why he loves it so much.....it's not like he ever did the washing up anyway!! LOL

Well, if you are really attached to it, try this. Test the switch with a volt-ohm-milliammeter (VOM) set to the RX1 scale, and if that's OK, try to rotate the impeller by hand in a clockwise direction. If that's OK, unclip the dispersion sprocket using the correct tool and check the no return valve assembly inside. It's usually just next to the filtration grommet. Next step is to disassemble the osmosisisation membrane housing and the timing dispacement rocker switch. Check them using a vernier guage and set the points to 10.25mm.

If that doesn't work, buy some marigolds. As I suggested earlier.

What on earth is wrong with fairy liquid and a pair of marigolds? Have you no concern for your carbon footprint and the environment? Dishwasher? New fangled nonsense.
