this as cant find my thread remember i said my Grandson Anthony had been turned down about getting into the police force,and he was realy upset he did,nt get in,he got phone call afew days ago hes been except into the police hes over the moon,have to go now as cant sit for long
so please and proud of him so loverly young man and not just because hes my g,son

Hi Dutch,

Many congrats to Anthony. I dont know which force hes going to be in, but my son was accepted into West Mercia over 12 months ago and he's still waiting for a new recruits training course. With all of the cuts nowadays he maybe waiting a while - hope not though.

Congratulations to Anthony. He did well, I know it's difficult to get into the police (my nephew tried).

Well done Anthony, so glad he was accepted after all, wonder why he thought he had been turned down and then called.

Hope he gets started very soon.

Patricia, hope your lad gets his training place soon too

My son talked about joining the police a few years back but felt there were some things he didn't agree with, policy type things so wasn't sure about doing it.
