I have an ancestor on 2 branches of my tree. Dont know how I did this but want to bring the branches together. Do I have to start deleting people right back and start again? Im still a novice at this and getting very frustrated as I dont really want to delete and start again.
Im so angry at myself but cant see where to start.
Grateful for any ideas please.

not eally quite sure what you mean.

If yu mean your tree on GR, then you cannot delete anyone with an offspring, you have to delete them first

Hi Pauline,
in desperation I emailed GR support team, this was reply:

"Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Unfortunately it is not currently possible to link the same individual so they only appear once in your tree. If you have cousins who married each other or 2 sisters who married 2 brothers you will need to add these in as separate individuals".

Will have a go at your way, thank you.
