My cousin in USA has asked me to call a number in Scotland (from England) the number is 0131 225 8007
it's a tobbaco shop in Edinburgh, do you know what numbers I drop to replace with dialing code from here please? I'm going out so will check back this afternoon. Thank you

I guess none as this may be it

BUT it does give 3 other addresses aswel!!!

You dont drop any Carole,

0131 is the dialing code for Ed from anywhere.

if from abroard then a international dialing code would be used first,but still followed by 0131, then the 225 8007

Patricia is right, if dialling from abroad you do drop the leading zero and replace it with the 0044.

Thank you very much everyone. I'll try it tomorrow. Googled it and there were two, a
confectioners and a tobbaco shop with different addresses. My cousin bought a pipe there a couple of years ago and wanted it fixed, on sending a letter it was returned saying gone away. He wants me to try calling them.
