Our Lovely friend Pauline on Friendly is now sat with her dying sister waiting for her to pass on.
She has terminal Cancer .
And was sent home just recently to end her days with her family..

We are thinking of you Pauline , you are one wonderful lady with your lovely son that is your world. How you cope we will never know .

Very close to my heart as I visited a friend in hospital on Monday, 45 years old and has battled breast cancer for several years and now going home to die. She has a son aged 10. How do you even begin to accept that you will never see him grow up? She has been an absolute inspiration to all who know her. Her sense of humour has been amazing all through her ordeal.
She's never smoked, has been with her husband since about age 15. Why is life so unfair?????

I've just seen this thread (just come back here today) and I'd like to say thank you to the lovely caring people who added to it.

I feel blessed to know such lovely people, you're all very kind and thoughtful.

It's a comfort to know that people's thoughts were with my family and myself when we were going through such an awful time.

My sister passed away peacefully with us all at her bedside, and I'm sure she'll have heard all the prayers that were being said for her.

She's out of her pain now.

Thank you everybody, and thank you Marilyn for putting the thread up.

Treat yourself gently now you are a pensioner, June will be happy to see you using your bus pass and will watch out for you.
