I do enjoy these programmes, I love watching the way other people live, this week a young woman stayed with a Turkish nomadic family and learned to live their way of lift, which was quite primitive in some ways and very different to the life she knew. Can't wait for the next episode.

I do like this kind of programme, I found the WAGS in Africa progs so touching, seeing them helping the young African children orphaned by Aids and with other problems. Most of the girls coped really well and knuckled down to anything without making too much fuss, only one thought handing out money was better than cooking and caring for the people.

Hi Jude,

you and me both, those youngsters need so much love and attention as well as all the practical things in life.

Have a watch of the Albino programme mentioned in another thread, if you can get it online, it's eye opening, shocking but they are so brave.

And we think we have problems, am recording the programme about the new faces needed, so much human tragedy.

And me, Jude and Liz.

I would love to spend a few weeks or more helping out. A couple of months back I actually emailed an aid company asking them why there was an age limit when we ladies with more experience are denied the opportunity to pass that on to those who might be able to use it.

So far, no rely. Sad, isn't it. I am a teacher, used to be a nurse and would like to help.
