I think why you are seeing old threads, may be because you have the 'surname filter' set for 'Suter'? that will being up the old threads with that name.

as Ice Ice Baby says just return to your thread and people will help if they can :)

I'm sure Rose is right, and it's the bane of the TTF board that people go to their "surname board" and see only old old threads, and reply to them -- and the people who started the threads will never see the reply because they are long gone.

When you look at Trying to Find you will see a line up at the top that says something like "to view the entire trying to find board again, click here". Click there. You will see where everyone else is seeing your thread -- on the busy complete board. That's how you get replies from members who are strangers and have nothing to do with the Suter surname but like to help out.

Then, to find you threads whenever you want, just click on "My threads" in the list of links over on the left of your monitor.

If you do want to look at a particular surname list again, just put that surname in the "filter this board" box also on the left, at the top.

It's best to look at the entire board and browse a few threads there, and see how the process works when people post enquiries and other members help out. Oh, and to post a reply in your thread, click the purple "Reply" button at the top, to open the box for doing that.

Have fun!
