I had a similar problem, the solution was to buy a cheap printer from T**co with cartridges fitted plus a spare pack. The whole deal only a couple of pounds more than the rare cartridges I was trying to access and I can pick up replacements while doing my regular shopping
Annoying I know, but yet another example of the throwaway society we inhabit !

Michael2 Good Morning. HP cartridges are not cheap, as I know to my cost , pardon the pun. But, I get them from T**co. Perhaps you can get them from there on line, or from HP themselves. They are always sending me e-mails with special offers on.

my niece lives in nz and is unable to get hp339 cartridges theredoes any one know of any surplyer who would post them to nz. thank you.
