I suspect, like me, most people never bother to open the message. I usually just delete batch them all every now and again when I am having a clear out. I think once it has been deleted by the recipient, the sender sees it as read, that is if they haven't deleted it too. |

Sometimes when a person replies to my query they also send a message to say they have opened their tree, but I dont always open that message. I can just look at the tree through the reply they sent. If you know what I mean! It says at the top of the message something about 'allow this person to view my tree' and view their tree' or some such, and I just click on it. Sorry cant explain it better, it is after midnight and I should be fast asleep but just couldnt drop off so came on here instead. |

They cannot see your tree from the moment you submit the access denial.... well, a couple of moments if GR is running slowly... but you get the gist. The recipient does not need to open anything at all. |

I gave a member access to my tree but for a number of reasons, now need to withdraw it. The person I opened my tree to has not opened their message yet ( about access). I have now withdrawn this request. Does it mean that they will not be able to see my tree as they have not accepted/ accessed or viewed my tree yet? |
