Rio Ferdinand has been ruled out of the World Cup with knee ligament damaged sustained in Englands 1 st trainning session.
That is a blow to our chances.

Think team effort - not individual.

Our Government is managing very well without David Laws - the disgraced 'saint'.

As a Scot please shoot me down if I'm wrong
but doesn't he have another 22 players out
there and can't someone cover for him.

I actually agree with GoldenGirl on this. Rio Ferdinand is one part of a team, and there are replacements available, all of whom should be of equal calibre as Rio.

But now we've at least got an excuse eh? It's all Heskey's fault, he was closest to Rio when it happened LOL

Its a shame is got injured & at 31 it'll be his last world cup.
Tottenhams Michael Dawson is to fly out as a replacement for Ferdinand.

This is the time for a player to step up to the plate & make a name for himself. Its happened in most world cups, the likes of Gary Lineker & Peter Beardsley springs to mind
