DILEMMA OF THE DAY

ProfilePosted byOptionsPost Date

Julia Report 4 Jun 2010 07:35

My dilemma of the day is, what shall I wear to M******sons today.
Weather gel has just been on the local radio and said it will be in the 80's. Whew, whew and thrice whew. No matter what you wear, you cannot keep cool enough.
Such a problem for a lady wanting to look smart, but cool.
I'll probably have to linger in the chilled meats aisle.
Good Morning to all, and have a nice and cool day.

Morning Hayley, always a problem, isn't it.
At the moment I am dressed abit like I imagine Eldrick would be.
Khaki shorts and boots. Not a pretty site when you my size.
Must get a shift in down the garden, before I become a 'lady' and make the day of the manager at M*****sons. He needs to keep on the right side of me at the mo. They are building a new A**a down the road, and it is not as far for me to get to as it is to M*****sons.
Have a lovely day at work, I will be thinking of you LOLOL

Well Hayley, I have decided to wear my navy cut off trousers, when you are short in the leg as I am, they are more like longs than shorts, gnomes easily come to mind here, and a thin diaphamous cream top.
I will ditch the boots, but play safe and keep me vest on.
Be Good

Morning Julia - sounds very pretty. I'm sure you'll cheer the Maddy Manager up! Personally, I'm just about to don my cut off jeans with holes in, old teeshirt and clodhoppers and I'm off to the allotment! I went over there last evening and my runner beans have blanched in the sun - don't know what to do about that. My lovely younger daughter left for work half an hour ago dressed as if she was going clubbing. It's 'own clothes day' at her office!

Have a lovely day. x

The coolest and most comfortable outfit I have is a pair of *shortie* pyjamas.... good thing that so much is or looks interchangeable these days.... I remember scandalising my MiL 37 years ago when she visited us in Cyprus, by wearing a boy's vest - I had lots and dyed them different colours, lol - as a tee shirt..... it wasn't the done thing in those days to go bra-less, or wear your underwear as outer wear - think camisoles and basques, petticoats etc here..... that is what they wear now, isn't it..... we'd have been made to shove another layer on top just to please the fuddy duddies...

So..... I am in my shortie jim jams..... they are clean, honestly... I didn't wear them to bed last night, lol.

Love

Daff hello, I have very often wondered about 'those' type of shortie Pyjamas. Lets face it, we wear them to bed to keep cool, so what is wrong to wear them around the privicy of your own garden.
Memo to self. Get down to S*****bury's toot sweet, and buy some.
Take care, don't wear yourself out with 'the Littlie'
