Having eagerly waited for this to become available I was extremely disappointed to find that although I am a gold member and have recently paid my membership by direct debit, I am unable to access without upgrading to Platinum - an extra cost of £30 +.
I have been with Genes reunited for a number of years and use it regularly - however I am strongly thinking of leaving and using the official 1911 website and paying for credits as I use them. The only extra I would be getting for my money is access to 1911 census. Surely long-term faithful members could have a short free trial. Anyone else annoyed?

Yes lots of people, keep these threads going, complain to trading standards, watchdog and dont be fooled, they are in breach of contract. Everyone stand up for your rights

No they're not, not if you actually read the T & Cs, it may be annoying, you may feel 'cheated' but they GR have done what every other site with 1911 has done...charged for it... EVERYONE is paying extra.

When you signed up Bob was the 1911 on here, yes or no? if not then you did NOT sign up to receive it.

You paid for steak , you got steak... it just didn't come with the 'extras' you expected.
