the one thing mum made that i cant stand is a pie at christmas which was cooked turkey and ham chopped up with raw chopped up chipolatas and a tin of mushroom or chicken soup and then pastry on top how i ate it i dont know lots of drink to wash it down with. Tried to make me eat eggs- with no luck. I was 23 before I ate an egg and that was for a bet. Love them now. :)

They never got me to eat liver either - Mum used to throw a couple of sausages in with the gravy for me. Strange because I have always liked the taste of liver gravy.

Broad Beans!!!!!!!!!! I used to pick the skin bit off and then nearly vomit when I has to eat the inner part.I tried to hide them in the mashed potato.I wasn't allowed out to play until I had eaten them.I still hate them today lol

Tripe......because it was cheap.

We all hated it,I'm sure we were made to eat it cant think we went without !

And the other was Syrup of figs...Uggghhhh ........because the clinic supplied it along with Orange Juice & Malt which I quite liked .

I don't remember being made to eat anything, encouraged yes, but forced, no.

On the other hand if we didn't want to eat something we weren't offered an alternative. The choice was eat it or go without, so we generally ate what was served to us.
My sister never liked liver, but if that was what was for our meal, she didn't get any on her plate, just the bacon which was also part of the meal.
