PAWNBROKERS OF WALSALL

Can anyone remember the names of any pawnbrokers in Walsall, on or around stafford street c1940 my grandmother Mary Smith worked there with a Mrs Cahill (Cayhill), possible owned by a man and named after him. It was a big shop with two double fronted windows.

Again go to
aclickintime and under P you will find pawnbrokers (Stafford Street) there was also a furniture shop behind the Savoy on Wolverhampton Street that was also a pawnbrokers but can't remember the name at the moment..

Blue Lane West, Grren Lane & Townend are very close to Stafford St
Herrick & Cordwell Townend St was the furniture shop behind the Savoy and Wolverhampton St
